I support ethical business practices and being responsible for the environment. I believe that it's the little things each of us do that can make a cumulative difference. I make an effort to reduce the ecological impact of the work I do while maintaining good quality work.
Resource use and waste management:
eliminating the use of polluting materials;
recycle everything that can be recycled, or reusing materials: print double sided where possible, re-use envelopes and use electronic formats when possible. I only print out documents when there is a necessity to do so;
I contribute to local recycling programs and have an organic compost box.
Energy use: have a switch off policy for electrics, use energy saving light bulbs and rechargeable batteries.
I make good use of the natural light and sunshine to light the studio and when that runs out I use low voltage lighting.
Transport: most of the time I walk and cycle or use public transport.
Products and services:
try and promote the use of recycled materials and eco-friendly sustainable processes.
where possible I use ethically sourced t-shirts and vegetable inks on products.
